Referee: Víctor Areces Franco
Kick-off: 20h30 CET (Nou Stadi)

Gimnástic Tarragona arrive to the meeting as the worst offensive line at Segunda (tied with Elche CF). The Catalans have only scored three goals in six matches, though they are out of the promotion zone for now after adding four points within the last two games. Meanwhile, Depor have netted seven goals, which is the 8th best mark in the league.

This is the eighth time in which Depor visit Gimnástic playing for a league competition, the Galicians only added two victories so far, the last one was a 1-2 win for the Segunda campaign 2011/12 with a late goal of Xisco that practically sealed the promotion to the elite.

Coach Natxo González didn’t want to confirm that he will repeat the lineup that defeated Granada CF at the Riazor, instead he assured in his press conference that he is a coach that normally doesn’t repeat the starting eleven. However, it’s expected that he will send the same eleven men of the past weekend; actually he picked the same roster for the trip to Catalonia.

Team news: Striker Borja Valle plus left-back defenders Diego Caballo and Sebastián Dubarbier remain at the injury room. Midfielder Michael Krohn-Dehli is available after his latest suspension, but he wasn’t picked for the meeting. The other players out for tactical reasons are right-back Gerard Valentín and winger Pedro López.

Man to watch: Striker Quique González. The Valladolid-born attacker is coming after netting a brace against Granada CF. He has scored four of the seven goals of Depor in the league (57%). It’s the third highest percentage at Segunda only behind Extremadura’s Enric Gallego (71%) and Elche’s Sory Kaba (67%).

Picked players: (18) Dani Giménez, Ortolá (goalkeepers); David Simón, Bóveda, Pablo Mari, Domingos Duarte, Somma, Saúl García (defenders); Edu Expósito, Álex Bergantiños, Pedro Mosquera, Vicente Gómez, Didier Moreno, Carles Gil, Fede Cartabia (midfielders); Carlos Fernández, Christian Santos & Quique González (attackers)

Predicted lineup: (4-3-1-2) Dani Giménez – David Simón, Pablo Mari, Domingos Duarte, Saúl – Vicente Gómez, Mosquera, Didier Moreno – Carles Gil – Quique González, Carlos Fernández.

The Catalan team is in an ascending line after a doubtful start, they picked four of the last six points in dispute, but coach José Antonio Gordillo is having big problems due to the injuries affecting all the lines: Centre-back Josua Mejias (thigh), midfielder Ramiro Guerra (muscle), left-back Javi Jiménez (toe fracture), striker Manu Del Moral and right-back Pol Valentín (both thigh)

To make things worse, Raúl Albentosa is ineligible to play as Depor’s s his parent club. The coach said that he has the hope that Javi Jiménez and Manu Del Moral could be ready for the game as they will make a late test, but it’s improbable as both men haven’t trained during the week.

Team news: The coach will release the roster for the game until Sunday as the doctors will study the cases of Javi Jiménez and Manu Del Moral. It’s expected that there will be changes at midfield, while Ikechukwu Uche should start in attack keeping a 4-4-2 figure.

Man to watch: Striker Manu Barreiro. Third season for the Galician attacker at the club, he hasn’t scored on this season, but last year he was the top-scorer at the team netting 10 goals in 31 Segunda appearances. One of those goals helped to achieve the permanence on last season as Nástic defeated Rayo Vallecano in the last matchday (2-0).

Picked players: The roster will be released until Sunday.

Predicted lineup: (4-4-2) Becerra - Iván López, Cadamuro, Arzo, Abraham - Rocha, Fali, Tete, Omar Perdomo – Ikechukwu Uche, Barreiro.
