Cartabia could be available for the meeting as he will undergo a test on Friday. The rival is another candidate to the promotion that hasn’t been affected by the injuries.

Deportivo visit UD Las Palmas in an important game in the race for promotion (Estadio de Gran Canaria, Saturday, 20h30 CET). Both teams are separated by three points and a win would reaffirm the good moment of the Galicians, while the three points would put the Canarians back on track after a bad streak.

Coach Natxo González will continue to see the action from the stands as he completes the second game of suspension after the incidents in the game at Córdoba CF, while striker Borja Valle serves the second of his four-game ban.

But there are good news as the coach could recover Fede Cartabia, the Argentine playmaker is recovered from a thigh injury and joined the work during the week. The doctors will decide on Friday if he is fit to play or whether he should wait until the home meeting with Real Oviedo.

Meanwhile, midfielder Michael Krohn-Dehli and left-back defender Sebastian Dubarbier remain out with a thigh injury. The duo trained apart during the week and should join the group in two weeks.

At UD Las Palmas, coach Manolo Jiménez has been favoured by the lack of injuries and suspensions at his team, to the point that he has been able to repeat the starting lineup in 10 of the 11 games played so far.  But for the game at Depor he has the problem of centre-back and captain of the team, David García,

He suffered a hamstring injury during the visit to RCD Mallorca and has trained apart all week long. Deivid will replace him. The other players out for injury reasons are Momo and Gaby Peñalba; the ex-Depor winger is out until December due to a knee sprain, while the Argentine midfielder has been out since February due to a knee problem (Baker's cyst).
