THINKING OF REAL OVIEDO

Natxo González returns and recovers Cartabia and Krohn-Dehli. The rival arrives to the game with the important casualty of Saúl Berjón.

Deportivo return from the visit to UD Las Palmas extending the unbeaten streak to seven games, but also dropping a position as both Granada CF and AD Alcorcón were able to win their games, now Los Blanquiazules wan to continue fighting for the direct promotion spots as they host Real Oviedo (Riazor, Saturday, 20h30 CET).

Coach Natxo González returns to the bench after his suspension and does it recovering midfielder Michael Krohn-Dehli and playmaker Fede Cartabia. The Danish player is back after surpassing a grade I muscle injury on his left thigh suffered in the game against Córdoba CF.

In the case of the Argentine playmaker, he passed a late test before the previous game at UD Las Palmas, but he wasn’t picked for the match as second coach Bernardo Tapia explained that they didn’t want to risk him.

Meanwhile, playmaker Pedro Sánchez is out of the game after suffering a grade I muscle injury on his left thigh during the game at the Gran Canaria stadium. Left-back Sebastián Dubarbier is also out with a thigh injury.

A third casualty for the game is Borja Valle, the striker is serving the third of his four games of suspension after been sent off against Córdoba CF. Second coach Bernardo Tapia and keeper's trainer Yván Castillo have been suspended for one game after been sent off against UD Las Palmas.

At Real Oviedo, after a start of season full of problems related to the injuries, coach Juan Antonio Anquela has been recovering men within the last matchdays, still the results aren’t arriving and the team isn’t matching the expectations of the fans.

And the injury concerns returned this week after one of their best men, Saúl Berjón, had to be replaced in the game with RCD Mallorca due to a muscle problem. He won’t be at the Riazor and is a sensitive case been the only player that has taking part of all the games as a starter and also been the top-scorer of the team (3).

To make things worse his replacement, Aarón Ñíguez, is doubtful for the game at the Riazor. The winger didn’t end Wednesday’s session due to a tendinitis and his participation in the game will be decided until Friday’s session.
