Carlos Fernández and David Simón are doubtful, while Domingos Duarte returns. The rival is concern with their calendar in this last stretch of the year.

Deportivo return to the Riazor in order to have two straight matches at home and try to reinforce the slot in direct promotion, the first meeting is CD Numancia (Saturday, 13h00 CET). Once again coach Natxo González is having mixed news at the moment of preparing the lineup.

Centre-back Domingos Duarte and right-back David Simón are back from suspension, but the latter is doubtful due to a hamstring problem. Also, striker Carlos Fernández ended the game against Rayo Majadahonda with a hamstring knock and, despite the problem isn’t serious, he hasn’t trained this week.

Both Fernández and Simón will be revalued on Friday in order to known if they will be available. If not, then Bóveda and Borja Valle should fill the gaps. Meanwhile, playmakers Fede Cartabia and Pedro Sánchez still recovering from their thigh injuries and will skip the match.

Who is already recovered is left-back Sebastián Dubarbier, the Argentine defender surpassed a thigh problem that kept him out since September, but it isn’t probable that he can be picked for the game as Raúl García and Diego Caballo are the ones disputing the position. Dubarbier hasn’t debuted yet in liga and his contribution this season was to only play 90 minutes in Copa against Real Zaragoza.

AT CD Numancia, the concern is the calendar towards the end of the year. The team is five points above the pit, but in the last three games of the year they must face Deportivo, Albacete Balompié and AD Alcorcón. So, the concern of ending the year closer to relegation is big.

Coach Aritz López will be pleased as his main top-scorer, Guillermo Fernández, will be available after missing the last two games due to an ankle injury. But left-back Adrián Ripa (muscle) and winger Dani Nieto (knee) are out of the game due to long-term injuries. But the injuries aren’t a problem for Aritz López, after all he has a squad of 25 men, which includes centre-back Derik Osede, who was signed last week as a free agent.
