Carlos Fernández and Gerard Valentín are the players out of the last game in 2018; the rival has a couple of casualties, but not sensitive cases against Depor.

The last game in 2018 at the Ramón de Carranza (Saturday, 20h45 CET) brings the opportunity to stay in direct promotion, but t’s promising to be a tough challenge as Depor visit the most in-form team in the league: Cádiz CF. Also, because the Galicians are about to chain three straight months without an away win (four straight draws within the period).

Coach Natxo González will still miss striker Carlos Fernández (hamstring) and right-back Gerard Valentín (muscle). It was expected that the duo could be fit for the last game of the year, but they haven’t trained with the group during the week and will return until 2019.

At least the coach is recovering Saúl García and David Simón, the left-back returns after skipping the game against Real Zaragoza due to suspension, while the right-back didn’t play the last two games due to a hamstring problem.

At Cádiz CF, the team was coming from a rally of six straight victories that put them into the fight for promotion, a streak that was interrupted on last weekend with a 0-1 loss at Málaga CF. Still, the Andalusians are optimistic regarding their chances for the rest of the campaign.

Coach Álvaro Cervera has two confirmed casualties for the game: centre-back Servando Sancho (nose fracture) and striker Mario Barco (muscle). Both men haven’t played too much in liga, so it isn’t a case of sensitive casualties for them.

But there are two players that are doubtful and that have been normal starters throughout the season: midfielder Salvador Sánchez ‘Salvi’ and centre-back Sergio Sánchez (both muscle knocks). At the same time, midfielder Karim Azamoum returns after been out for two weeks (knee sprain), though he has only played 31 minutes entering three times as a substitute.
