Edu Expósito was named the Depor’s player of December. He talked to reporters and assured that Depor can win playing away from the Riazor despite the recent results. He also talked of the new system.

Edu Expósito was recognized as Depor’s player of December. He was content for it as it is voted by the fans and journalists, "It's nice to receive this kind of recognition, because it's the media and the fans the ones that choose. I feel good with the confidence that the coach is giving me, but I have to continue in this lane. Let's hope so.”

The Valencian player also talked of the new system, the 4-3-3, for him it’s important to have variants, "It’s important to have this type of variants, to win with another style, so the rivals don’t always raise the same things. Let the rivals know now that we can play differently and then then will have doubts."

The midfielder explained his role in the new scheme, "I have to find the back of the midfielders, to play between the lines in order to hurt them. The other day things went well, but it was the whole team. I think we played a great game and put into practice everything we had worked on during the week."

Finally, Expósito said that Depor are capable of winning games away from the Riazor, "It's complicated, but the team is ready to win away from home. It's costing us a lot, but we're trying to correct it. On this occasion we will have a lot of fans and hopefully that will help us. A very tough second round is coming, it will be demanding and we will have to be with all the senses in each game. There are nice matches with direct rivals that are up there. It's when you're going to see what we can do.”
