New defeat for a Fabril that’s starting to lose the hope. The rival did nothing special, but it had enough with a free-kick and later control a rival without ideas or punch.

Luisito was directing his third game commanding Fabril, in the first two his lads didn’t concede any goal. Jonathan Montiel was out of the meeting as he was suspended with five yellow cards. Lucas Viña was out injured.

The draw was a 4-3-3. Álex Cobo was the starting goalie, Jorge Valín covered the right side in defence, Juanmi Carrión played on the left, Quique Fornos and Steve One were the centre-backs. The centre midfielders were Carlos López, Ignacio Abeledo and Arturo Segado. the trio in attack was composed by Víctor García, Bicho and Uxío Dapena.

CD Guijuelo arrived into the game after two straight victories, results that put the team at mid-table. Coach Ángel Sánchez was relying in Pablo Espina and Julián Luque, combined both players had scored 8 goals. Ex-Fabril keeper Felipe Ramos was a starter in the game.

New demonstration of impotence for a Fabril that never gave the sense of been creating danger, only in some isolated plays that almost ended in the equalizer. Th absence of Montiel rested unbalance in attack and Bicho never filled that space.

Fabril started dominating the actions, but Guijuelo found the first -and lonely- goal in the game after a doubtful foul of Quique Fornos at the edgeo f the area, and Raúl Ruiz didn’t miss in the direct free-kick through a perfect volley.

The locals tried to react, but didn’t find the way to break the visiting defence. Actually, Guijuelo looked closer to score the second. At minute 22, Pablo Espina found the ball at the edge of the area and his low shot was saved by Álex Cobo.

Luque had a new chance in a new free-kick, but this time his curved sot went over the wall and then out (30’). The first clear chance for the locals came until minute 36, and it was a corner-kick of Segado that almost surprised visiting goalie Felipe Ramos.

And the visiting keeper made a big save at minute 42 after deflecting a header of Fornos in a corner-kick. The last play of the half was a cross from the left for Guijuelo that no one was able to push in, there were three rivals inside the area and no one fund the ball.

The first chance in the second half was a counterattack for Guijuelo that ended with a shot of Carmona that went over the crossbar (48’). Fabril had a good start in the half, having the ball and pressing up front, but later there wasn’t anyone drilling the last pass or completing a shot.

Fabril’s first chance in the second half was a corner-kick in which Bicho found the ball inside the area, his low shot was searching for the near post, but ended deflected by a rival (56’). The first substitution at Fabril was the entry of Juanje for Víctor García.

Then Guillermo May replaced Bicho. It was a disappointing game for the winger, he was pretty active, but never was the guide that the team needed. Neither the Uruguayan replacement changed the picture.

At minute 69, Abeledo made a great solo-play, but later Uxío was unable to push the ball in from the near post. Then Iago Gandoy replaced Carrión and substitute Ten Den Teije had the next chance to score through a header in a lateral free-kick that was blocked by Álex Cobo (72’).

Guillermo May should have scored at minute 78, Felípe Ramos miscalculated the ball in a cross from the left, the ball reached the path of the Uruguayan, but he headed the ball over the crossbar just when the keeper was already defeated.

Grey game by Fabril. Guijuelo only needed order to beat a clueless rival that wants to push, but that doesn’t know how to do it. Uxío and May with the best chances to score.  Fabril remain to be the bottom team in the league. The next game is the visit to AD Unión Adarve (Sunday, 12h00 CET).
