The gals already qualified for the promotion playoff to Primera, eight clubs will dispute two slots at the top-tier.

After only three years competing at Segunda, Depor Ladies have managed to qualify for the first time to the promotion playoff to Primera División (Liga Iberdrola). As it happened last year, it was expected a hard dispute with Oviedo Moderno for the first place at group one, and it was like that though it hasn’t been necessary to depend of the retuning leg against the Asturians.

The gals started the season with a surprising 2-2 draw hosting Friol (September 9), but didn’t fail since then clinching 23 straight victories, including a 1-3 win visiting Oviedo Moderno (December 22). Meanwhile the Asturians drew two times and therefore, with two matchdays remaining, the Galicians have a seven-point advantage and don’t need to depend of the closing matchday hosting Oviedo.

Depor Ladies are the third team qualified for the playoff after Tacón Femenino (group 4) and CD Tenerife (group 6). The winners of the seven groups at Segunda, plus the best second place, will dispute a playoff round that gives two tickets to the elite.
