On Friday, Depor Sport continued insisting with the quartet appointed as the target to reinforce the striking zone: Suazo, Kezman, Marco Rub?n and Moreno. All appoints that Chilean Humberto Suazo is the main target for Lendoiro and that the other three are options in case this signing fails.

Humberto 'Chupete' Suazo (26) is the main target to reinforce the striking zone, at least it's the main conclusion of the papers in Spain. Sportpaper AS talked with the agent of the Chilean forward about the interest of Deportivo and he admitted the negotiations.

This agent is Fernando Felicevich, his declarations to AS were: "We have been talking about this since some days ago and I know they are treating the case with Monterey. The operation would be a final transfer and Depor already knows the conditions wished by Humberto. Independiente (Argentina) was trying to sign him, but as soon as the option of Depor came out, it has the priority. I hope the operation will be fulfilled. It's a dream come true to play at Depor."

The main problems are the aspirations of Suazo's current club, Rayados de Monterey. The president of the club, Jorge Urdiales, paid €3.7 million for him on the past season and now he is asking for €20 million. As Urdiales said to reporters in his country "We aren't interested in selling the striker. The transfer window is already closed in Mexico and we can't sign anybody to replace him. Any club wanting him should pay us the buyout clause (€20 million)."

On Friday, Depor Sport continued insisting that Deportivo already selected a quartet of candidates in order to reinforce the striking zone. The front page showed the title "The winning bet" and the inside pages described the skills of this four players. What seems clear now is that Suazo is the main target, and if this possibility fails, the other three choices appointed by Depor Sport will come out as the new main targets: Mateja Kezman (29), Alfredo Moreno (28) and Marco Gast??n Rub?n (21).

Rub?n seems to be the most accessible choice, according to newspaper La Opini??n A Coru?a, the 50% of the rights over the striker are owned by a financial group called Fernando Hidalgo, and this group would sell its part to Deportivo for €2.5 million. But his agent, Andres Miranda, has refused any contact with Depor, as he said: "They never got in contact with me, and as well as this one, I am working on another possible transfer for him (Valencia and Juventus). That is what we hope."

Meanwhile, the agent of Kezman, Zoran Vekic, talked with AS and assured that nothing has been negotiated with Depor "No one from Deportivo has talked with me. Kezman will love to return to Spain, but right now he's playing Champions League and his wages are high. It's complicated to see him there, it's almost impossible."
