Right-back Eneko Bóveda knows that the promotion aspirations of Deportivo are passing through winning the remaining three games. He is expecting a tough game against RCD Mallorca.

Eneko Bóveda addressed the media on Thursday, he was feeling sorry for the defeat in Lugo and expects it was only a bump for Deportivo, "I saw that we were in a moment of progression, but in Lugo we didn’t play well and the rival played better. I grab and I want to think that it was a small bump in that growth we were showing and I want to be a bit optimistic."

The right-back remembered that Depor are not yet eliminated from the promotion race and pointed that the key is to win the remaining three games, "At the moment we aren’t ruled out for anything, nobody tells us that in five weeks we would not be hugging and jumping.”

“Logic says that all our possibilities go through winning the three games that remain. It’s not the right moment to feel sorry, because this is not going to help us to play better on Monday, although sometimes it’s normal for us to remember bad games like Rayo Majadahonda, Extremadura or Alcorcón, if that will help us for Monday, it’s welcome." He added.

The Basque insisted that Depor’s mentality must be to win the remaining three games, "It’s normal that we are with that sense of urgency. Every time we have less margin of error, but the mathematics indicates that our possibilities go through winning the three games that we have left. Now is the time to chain three consecutive victories, something we haven’t achieved this year. We have another chance after Lugo.”

Bóveda also commented what should be expected from the game against RCD Mallorca, "It’s a direct rival with a huge advantage taking in mind the remaining points in the league, but I don’t think they will come relaxed. We are going to find a match very similar to what could be a game in the playoff knowing that their situation is much better than ours."
