Crucial game for Deportivo on Monday, Krohn-Dehli is the only player out. The rival could secure the playoff spot and arrives to the Riazor without any casualty.

The defeat with CD Lugo has left Deportivo without margin for more errors. With three games remaining the Galicians need to add the nine points, and even then they also need to wait for a failure of Cadiz CF. The next game is on Monday as direct rival RCD Mallorca visit the Riazor (21h00 CET).

Coach José Luis Martí   has tried to keep a low profile during the week, giving two days for the rest after the derby at the Anxo Carro, and later scheduling the normal video session and the training at the Riazor at the end of the week. He has also scheduled fun exercises at the start of the sessions, so the players can release the tension.

The good news is that Martí has a full squad available for the meeting. Krohn-Dehli (Achilles) is the only injury case, but the coach was already aware since his arrival that the Danish midfielder wasn’t going to play with the team during this season.

A fact to have in mind is that the first call for the shareholders meeting in which the new president will be elected is taking place at the same time, so it’s pretty clear that the election will take place on Tuesday, the day in which the second call has been scheduled. In this sense it can be said that the future of Deportivo will be decided in a matter of two days.

RCD Mallorca arrive to the Riazor knowing that victory will mathematically seal their presence in the playoff.  Since it’s almost certain that they will take part of the last instance to reach the top tier, their real goal is to end third, and for that they need at least two victories.

Coach Vicente Moreno is not having casualties for the game, though keeper Manolo Reina is dragging an ankle problem that didn’t allow him to end Thursday’s session. Still, the doctors expect that he will be fir for Monday.
