The coach and the players were satisfied with the pass to the playoff, but are aware that the road to promotion has re-started and that it will be tough.

Coach José Lui Martí is happy for reaching the playoff and also for the current state of his team, "The team now has a hope and a passion for this tremendous promotion. Inside the changing room everyone was happy and knowing that we have achieved the first goal, but we have two very tough games now. Surely it helps us to come from below. I don’t know to what extent, but it will help us. Now we are in the moment of believing again, we have done what we believed in and we have hooked this public, because there have been difficult moments in this game and the public has pushed us. We are in a good moment and now see how the legs respond.”

He was worried as the team as been facing a tight calendar, “I am happy and content, very proud of these players, but we have only taken one step towards the final goal. Now we must recover as soon as possible, recover the minds after these efforts. We aren’t used to play two times per week and on Wednesday, we will do it again, and again with the support of the stands, and the total unity, so it’s easier.”

The Majorcan coach was analyzing Málaga CF, the rival for the playoff, and also showed his faith in the public, “I see that it arrives well, but all the sides that reached the playoff arrive motivated for that. Let's see how the match is produced. I have full confidence in the group and, above all, because today we have been 22,000 here, and I still expect more on Wednesday.”

Finally, Martí talked of his experience in 2017, when he lost the playoff with CD Tenerife facing Getafe CF, “What I learned is that it’s very difficult. The minimum details and the forces after 42 matchdays will decide a lot. And also, that fact of been playing Wednesday and Sunday, because these players aren’t prepared for that, so we will have to give everyone minutes, because we need fresh and capable people for these games.”

The players celebrated on the pitch, but later were conscious that this is only starting, like what Dani Giménez said, "We are very happy, not excessive joy, because we know that we have to rest, we are going to celebrate today, having a quiet dinner and thinking about recovering tomorrow, because on Wednesday we continue with important matches and finals. The next game is the most important of the year again; within the last games we have been dragging an enormous tension and pressure, and I hope it will be good for the playoff.”

Álex Bergantiños was remembering that many didn’t think that Depor couldn’t reach the playoff, "We have been very far away from it, we thought it was almost lost after the defeats against Rayo Majadahonda and Extremadura, the team has shown the strength as a group, to fight until the end."

The midfielder is also convinced that the motivation will be key in order to face Málaga, CF, "The mood is the most important thing, these are games in which the emotional factor plays a lot, always being concentrated, the small details, and knowing that any action can be definitive.”

On Sunday, Edu Expósito was analyzing the rival, “We have played against them, they come from a very good run. It will be an equal tie, although they start with the advantage of being third. They spend the whole game attacking and they are difficult to pass. In attack it’s one of the best teams, with fast and unbalancing wingers. We already see the goals that people like Ontiveros are scoring.”

The Catalan was also saying that Depor will change for the playoff, "In these last games we played it all or nothing and sometimes the games turned to be an exchange of blows. We needed to score and win, which means we have to run. The rivals knew that the victory was the only thing that mattered to us. It's going to be different now, it's a tie and you have to do things well.”

At Córdoba CF, Rafa Navarro was proud of his team and once again attacked the attitude of some of the players, "We gave the face before a very good team, but in the second part they scored very soon and from there the team went down a bit. But I was happy with the attitude of the players. Lately we have had injuries and there are players who are not as involved as it’s needed in this competition. So, we were quite depleted in the aspect of numbers, but we brought eighteen men who showed attitude.”
