Only one exit and one arrival when the pre-season is about to start. The club is waiting to complete more departures before completing more signings.

The pe-season of Deportivo will start in one week, only 21 days after playing the last playoff game of the previous campaign. The late ending of last season, with the doubt of the league in which the team was going to compete, is having a toll in the planning of next campaign.

Also, Carmelo Del Pozo already stated that he has a base from last season and that, apart from signing a new let-back that can replace Saúl García, he will wait to complete signings until seeing which players leave from the squad.

Thus, the club has only made one signing, centre-back Vassilios Lampropoulos, while the only exit of a player under contract is Francis, who was loaned to AC Omonia Nicosia on Thursday. Currently the first team is composed by 19 players and they will be the ones starting the pre-season at Abegondo.

Still, there are rumours of ongoing negotiations. Edu Expósito remains linked to SD Eibar, while on Friday, newspaper Diario de Almeria reported that Depor are interested in centre-back Juan Ibiza (23, Villarreal CF). He played loaned at UD Almeria during last season and had a buyout option for the Andalusians, but it already expired.

The same source claimed that Depor already presented an offer to playmaker Juan Carlos Real (28), and even pointed that that new coach Anquela phoned the player in order to convince him and return to Depor. The former Fabril playmaker has offers from CA Osasuna and Granada CF after ending his contract with UD Almeria.

The last rumour was reported by AS, and it points to striker Mamadou Koné (27, CD Leganés). The source claims that Deportivo, Málaga CF and FC Girona are interested in the loan of striker, who last year played the last part of the season with Málaga CF.
