TEAM FOR THE SEASON 2019/20

It was a busy transfer window for Deportivo, especially during deadline day. Only eight men are staying from last season, while the club made fourteen signings.

Another busy market for Deportivo. Of the 24 players that ended playing for Depor on last season, only eight are staying for the campaign 2019/20: Dani Giménez, David Simón, Eneko Bóveda, Michele Somma, Álex Bergantiños, Vicente Gómez, Borja Valle & Christian Santos

Ten of the players that left the club ended their link on June 30: David Ortolá, Domingos Duarte, Pablo Mari, Iñigo López, Sebastián Dubarbier, Saúl García, Didier Moreno, Michael Krohn-Dehli, Nahuel Leiva & Carlos Fernández.

But the exits didn’t end there, because among the players under contract, eleven left the club during the summer window. Francis Uzoho, Gerard Valentín, Fede Cartabia & Diego Rolán were loaned out. Edu Expósito, Quique González & Róber Pier were transferred, while Pedro Mosquera, Juanfran Moreno, Diego Caballo & Pedro Sánchez were released.

Finally, The club made fourteen signings for the new season, five of them on deadline day: Koke Vegas, Vassilios Lampropoulos, Javi Montero, Luis Ruiz, Salva Ruiz, Peru Nolaskoain, Borja Galán, Ager Aketxe, Gaku Shibasaki, Saša Jovanovic, Victor Mollejo, Beto da Silva, Mamadou Koné & Samuele Longo. 

The squad for the season 2019/20 is composed by 22 players:
Goalkeepers: Dani Giménez (1) & Koke Vegas (13)
Defenders: Eneko Bóveda (24), David Simón (2), Vassilios Lampropoulos (5), Peru Nolaskoain (6), Michele Somma (3), Javi Montero (15), Luis Ruiz (14), Salva Ruiz (21).
Midfielders: Álex Bergantiños (4), Gaku Shibasaki (22), Vicente Gómez (8), Ager Aketxe (10) & Borja Galán (23)
Attackers: Saša Jovanovic (20), Victor Mollejo (11), Beto da Silva (18), Borja Valle (7), Christian Santos (9), Samuele Longo (12) & Mamadou Koné (19)
