Luis César is ready to change the system as the each day more nervous Deportivo try to find the way out from the bottom. The rival has only conceded one goal within the last four games.

The alarm bells are rising louder in A Coruña, the team has now spent 15 matchdays without winning and the criticism over president Paco Sazand sporting director Carmelo del Pozo is stronger, on this week it was even known that the house of the sporting director was vandalized with graffiti asking for his exit from the club.

On Friday it is expected a concentration at the club’s headquarters, this organized by the federation of peñas and the Riazor Blues, though on Wednesday it was known that the half of the board of the federation of peñas resigned after receiving threats.

And on the football pitch, coach Luis César Sampedro is now desperate. He has now spent six games at the club and only added two points, and after the defeat at Extremadura UD (2-0), he promised a “revolution” for the game against AD Alcorcón (Saturday, 18h00 CET).

It was speculated that this revolution was going to be a switch into a system with three centre backs, but what the coach has tested is a 4-3-3 with three centre midfielders. Beto da Silva was also tested as one of the three attackers.

The coach recovers the three players that were on international duty: Gaku Shibasaki (Japan), Vassilios Lampropoulos (Greece) and Javi Montero (U21 Spain), but received the bad news that Salva Ruiz is injured.

The left-back suffered a grade I muscle injury on his left hamstring and will be out for two or three weeks. The Valencian defender arrived for matchday 04 and has been the starting choice at the left flank since then. Luis Ruiz will replace him and will try to redeem the disastrous performance of his debut against SD Huesca (August 25). The other two players out injured are David Simón (groin) and Saša Jovanović (muscle)

AD Alcorcón are living their best moment on the season, they have spent five games without losing and are only one point behind the promotion zone. They are strong in defence and have only conceded one goal within the last four matches, and that was a penalty goal visiting UD Las Palmas (1-1).

Coach Fran Fernández lived a crisis at the goal in the recent home game against Málaga CF, because both Dani Jiménez and Samu Casado were injured, but Ximo Miralles debuted and kept the clean sheet against the Andalusians.

Now Dani Jiménez is expected to return and start at the Riazor. There are three casualties for injury reasons affecting the team for the game against Depor. The main one is left-back defender Carlos Pomares, then the cases of second keeper Samu Casado and Portuguese midfielder Luis Manuel Gonçalves ‘Reko’.
