HÉCTOR HERNÁNDEZ SIGNS FOR DEPOR

The sixth signing of Deportivo is Héctor Hernández. The left-back defender is signing a two-year contract after ending his link with CD Numancia.

Deportivo announced on Saturday the signing of Héctor Hernández Ortega. The left-back defender is 29 and pens a two-year contract after been released by CD Numancia. He should join the trainings on next week.

The Valladolid-born defender has plenty of experience playing in the top three tiers of Spain. He has played at Segunda B with the B teams of Real Zaragoza (2011-13) and Real Sociedad (2013-15). He played at Segunda B during the last two seasons, first performing for CD Tenerife and later for CD Numancia.

He suffered the demotion with CD Numancia on last season, but had solid performances and completed 31 appearances at Liga Smartbank. His experience at the elite was less impressive, starting with is debut with Real Zaragoza, in the season 2012/13 he only played 22 minutes after been sent off in his debut against Real Sociedad. Later the left-back completed other 31 appearances at Primera distributed between Real Sociedad, Granada CF and Deportivo Alavés.

Héctor Hernández is the sixth signing of Depor ahead of the season 2020/21. Previously Deportivo signed goalkeepers Carlos Abad and Lucho García, centre-back Borja Granero, midfielder Celso Borges, plus left winger José Alonso Lara.
