Coach Miguel ?ngel Lotina and president Augusto C?sar Lendoiro maintained a dinner on Monday's night, a reunion used to define the signings that Deportivo needs in order to face the second round in la liga. The same Lotina confirmed that he wants three things: a defensive midfielder, a midfielder with an offensive view and a new striker. After the meeting, the names started to flow in the papers.

He had a bright future in 2003, just after he scored the two goals that allowed Portugal to clinch the U-17 European title, but his performance felt down after that, now he's searching for a new start, and it could be in La Coru?a, for the moment it seems he's coming for Fabril, a squad struggling with the injuries.

The winter transder window will close midnight. The first surprise was the exit of Arbeloa and the promotion of 'Piscu' to the first squad. It isn't known if the club will fulfill more operations, but it's expected that Lendoiro will atleast try to bring Xisco back from his loan spell at Vecindario.

Shocking news for Depor fans!. Deportivo has transferred Alvaro Arbeloa to Liverpool. Coach Joaqu?n Caparr??s announced the news after today's training session. The amount of the operation hasn't been confirmed yet. The ex-Real Madrid defender has been a stalwart in the Deportivo defense this season and was one of the best players transferred during summer market, now his future is in England and will link up with the 'Spanish army' of Rafa Ben?tez.

It seems very difficult the fact of seen Deportivo making new signings during the next days. The financial situation of the club is extremely serious and a possibility arrival is almost impossible. In fact, the most probably thing is that Deportivo will have to sell one of two players in order to survive. Coloccini is the main candidate for this, while Iago and Rodri are also near to go out. Who already have boot foot outside of Deportivo is Aldo Duscher.

The club hasn't said anything yet about a possible renewal and the Spanish media is speculating about their future. It seems that River Plate is trying to negotiate for Duscher, while Espanyol is silently waiting for Capdevila.
