Winger Pablo ?lvarez was one of the main news during Friday. The player said in public that he wants to stay at Racing, but the club and the same Lotina count with him for the new season. Also, Valencia FC is the last club that joins the race for Coloccini, while Depor lost the case with Las Palmas for Sergio Su??rez.

Racing Santander admitted its interest in a permanent deal for Pablo ?lvarez, winger that played loaned there during the final part of the season. The president of Racing, Francisco Pern?a, said on Thursday during a interview in radio Onda Cero that "Pablo ?lvarez has been a great discovery for us on this season and we are interested in him. He came on January 2nd, we presented him at 12 AM and by 8 PM, he was already playing."

According to Radio Onda Cero, Racing could make an offer to Depor for Pablo ?lvarez, but this will depend on the future of Jorge L??pez and the possible signing of Juanma (Levante), players that would cover his place at the right wing. However, it seems that Deportivo and Lotina counts with the winger for the new season. Depor's coach talked on Friday in a interview with Onda Cero and affirmed that "Pablo ?lvarez must be working with us on July 2nd." Sentence that confirms that he counts with the player for the season 2008/2009.

Reporter Alberto G??mez Barros from Onda Cero also took advantage of the occasion to ask Lotina about the cases with Radamel Falcao (22) and Daniel Aranzubia (28). About the Colombian striker, Depor's coach said they recently asked about his situation to River Plate, but the Argentinean club is now asking for €20 million, reason why the option has been discarded. About Aranzubia, Lotina said that he likes the keeper and that he still believing Aranzubia is "one of the bigger talents in Spain."

Meanwhile, newspaper La Opini??n A Coru?±a appoints that Valencia FC is the last club that has joined the race to sign central defender Fabricio Coloccini. According to the paper, the Valencians are planning to offer an exchange of players and one of this players could be Nicola Zigic (28), striker that only scored one goal with the squad after his arrival one year ago coming from Racing. La Opini??n claims that Zigic is a striker that pleases Lotina, but that at the same time, the offer would be considered as 'insufficient'.

Finally, on Friday it was know that Deportivo lost the case with UD Las Palmas for the rights of Sergio Su??rez (21). Depor requested the transfer of the midfielder as part of an agreement that allows the yearly arrival of one player from that club. But the fact that caused a conflict was the number of games played by the young midfielder. Depor has the right to choose any player but only if he hasn't performed in more than five games with the Canarian team, the Galician club understands these games are official matches, while Las Palmas understand it includes friendly games. In the end, judge Cosme L??pez gave the reason to Las Palmas. However, Depor still can appeal the decision and both clubs said before they don't discard an out-of-court-negotiation in order to resolve the dispute.
