Sportpaper AS is announcing that Depor will try to sign a new right winger during the winter window. The paper speculates that Lendoiro will try to close a loan deal with a "giant club” from England or Italy.

On Monday presented the translation of an interview made to Miguel Angel Lotina by journalist Luis de La Cruz from Sportpaper AS. In the article the more emphasised sentence of Depor’s coach was, “But surely we will do something in the winter market.” This after he was asked if the club was going to make any move during the winter window in the attempt to cover the casualty of Brayan Angulo, plus the problems at the right wing after the departure of Angel Lafita.

Apparently, Lotina reveled, off the record, some facts that are surrounding the market moves of the club during the upcoming winter window. Firstly, it was informed that the Basque coach and president Augusto César Lendoiro are planning to have a reunion on this week.

According to the journalist from AS, during that meeting Lotina will ask two things to the president: to negotiate the renewal of Angulo’s loan and to sign a new right winger.  According to the report, the plan is to negotiate a loan deal with a big club from England or Italy. The idea is to get a “quality” right winger that currently is not getting the needing minutes at that big club.

It seems that Lotina also told to the reporter that Deportivo is currently following another player in Spain that’s not getting too many opportunities. No names were revealed, but Luis de La Cruz assured that Valencia’s midfielder Miguel Angel Herrero ‘Michel’ (21) was one of the targets, but that no agreement has been reached for him.

After Monday’s training, the same Lotina confirmed that he will welcome the arrival of a new winger, but only if this new signing would come in order to add things to the team, the Basque also assured that he is “very content” with Pablo Alvarez and Juan Rodriguez, the two players that have been covering the right wing during the present season. What the coach left clear is that the meeting with Lendoiro will not precisely occur on this week since it depends on Lendoiro’s agenda.
