The intention with the promotion of Depor B is to keep the base of the past season, mainly the Galician players, but at the same time the team will sign new players from outside Galicia. So far three new faces have arrived.

The promotion of Deportivo B to Segunda División B has meant an important step in the evolution of the players that might join the first team in future seasons; the idea of the club is to keep the base of the squad that performed at Tercera, mainly composed by Galician players.

In this sense the club’s authorities already signed an extension of contract with two players: keeper Diego Rivas and midfielder Dani, both with one more season at Fabril. Meanwhile, the club still has to decide what will happen with two of the most promising players at the team: central defender David Rochela and left-back Raúl Garcia, duo that could stay, be promoted to the first team or end loaned at another club. Without forgetting that right-back Diego Seoane still negotiating a renewal.

At the same time, the club is also thinking in refreshing part of the squad, in this sense left-back Cristian Valle, central defender Antonio Del Castillo, right-back Alberto Valencia, defensive midfielders Momar Diagne and José Antonio Míguez ‘Toni’ have been released, while three new players have joined the squad.

The first was Cameroonian left winger Julien Lilal Ndomo Sabo, an 18-year-old player that has been on trial at Abegondo since March and that played in the past for Persévérance FC. He has been described as a fast and skilful player that was part of the pre-squad of Cameroon that competed in the FIFA U-20 World Cup disputed in Egypt in 2009.

The other two arrivals are strikers: Jonathan Mejia Ruiz ‘Jona’ (21) and Dionisio Emanuel Villalba Rojano ‘Dioni’ (20). Both are Andalusian, the first performed with Melilla (Segunda B) on the past season and didn’t score a goal after thirteen games, and the second is arriving after scoring eleven goals in thirty-four matches with Caravaca (Segunda B).

And there will be more signings, because the team needs reinforcements at defense in order to cover the players that were released, meanwhile it has been rumoured that Fabril is interested in Francisco Javier Gallardo, a 21-year-old winger/playmaker from Cadiz B that’s ending contract on June 30.

On Saturday the club informed that Miguel Gamallo will take charge of the co-ordination of the youth teams, so far he was the responsible for the youngest teams at the club (Cadete B, Infantil A, Infantil B, Alevín A and Alevín B). He is relieving Tito Ramallo on the job, who is now concentrating his efforts in coaching Fabril. This is just a new step in the professionalization of the organization chart at the club.
