The club has announced the arrival of Portuguese midfielder André André; he is a 20-year-old promise that was formed at the youth teams of Porto. It’s the fourth signing ahead of the new season and seems to be made thinking of the first team.

On Sunday the club announced the signing of André Filipe Bras André (20), an offensive midfielder that’s coming for free from Varzim Sports Club (Portuguese second division), the contract is for two years with the option of an extension for another two seasons.

Known as André André this young talent was formed at the youth teams of Porto and is the son of Antonio André dos Santos, a Portuguese footballer who became famous for playing for FC Porto for many years, winning not only domestic titles but also a European Champions Cup and other international competitions. He was chosen by Portuguese sports newspaper Record as one of the best 100 Portuguese football players.

André André is trying to follow his steps and in 2006 he left Porto to join Varzim Sports Club, team from the second division in Portugal, there he played twenty-six games scoring five goals, four of them were conquered within the season that has just ended.

All the paper in Portugal believe that he could be an interesting player for the future, and actually on the season 2008/09 he received the award of best U-23 Portuguese player  by the Union of Professional Football Players.

Without doubt this signing was made thinking of the first squad of Lotina, but for the moment he will play at Deportivo B. It is the fourth signing for Fabril after the arrivals of Cameroonian winger Julien Lilal Ndomo Sabo (18), and the strikers Jonathan Mejia Ruiz ‘Jona’ (21) and Dionisio Emanuel Villalba Rojano ‘Dioni’.

André André talked to the Portuguese media and showed his satisfaction for having the chance to play in Spain, ”"It is the dream of any player: to have the opportunity to play in a major world tournament. I am very happy with this opportunity and I want to do my best.”
