Rubén Pérez arrives today in order to sell his loan contract at Deportivo, while the situation with Escudero is now complicated as he has other offers. The left-back will take a final decision within the next hours.

The signing of Sergio Escudero (21, Real Murcia) is now complicated as the player has received several offers from other clubs. On Tuesday Murcian newspaper La Verdad wrote that the agreement between Depor and Murcia was done and that it was for €1.8 million plus €500,000 in objectives. The problem is that other clubs are chasing the player and it seems that they are offering a better salary.

Murcian newspaper La Opinión de Murcia wrote that Real Zaragoza and German club Schalke 04 are offering a bigger wage to the defender, reason why the player is still trying to decide where he wants to play on the new season. His agent, Joseba Diaz, talked to reporters and said that, “He has four offers and each one have an advantage and a disadvantage. Depor’s offer is just one more proposition, though we are conscious of the effort done by this club in order to sign him.”

Diaz promised that the player will take a final decision in the coming hours and that he will announce his choice on Wednesday. The player seems tempted to perform for Schalke as the Germans will play the Champions League, but at the same time he’s aware that Depor offers him the chance to play at the elite of Spanish football and also that he will probably be a starter since the beginning.

The case that’s simpler is the one of Rubén Pérez (21, Atletico Madrid), actually it can be considered as done. The midfielder didn’t train on Monday at Atletico Madrid, instead he was closing the last gaps on his loan contract, and Depor Sport wrote that today he will arrive to La Coruña in order to sign for Depor. It will be a loan for two years, and it isn’t known yet if it will include a buyout option.

Finally, Lotina leaves an open door to the possible arrival of a new striker, as he said to reporters that, “It is a door that we won’t close until the last day of the market.” The two names that have been mentioned as possible targets continue to be Sergio Garcia (27, Betis) and Alberto Perea (19, Atletico Madrid)
