After a failed period in Romania, Bodipo is coming back to Spain and has signed a loan contract with Segunda club Elche CF. He will play there during the season 2010/11.

Rodolfo Bodipo has lived a moved summer; he knew from the beginning that Lotina wasn’t counting with him and early on the pre-season reached an agreement with Romanian club FC Valsui to play there loaned for one season, this after been convinced by the coach of the team Lopez Caro.

But the adventure just lasted a few weeks, the results and the apparently low performance within the first five matches of the Equatoguinean striker moved the club officials of Vaslui to fire him. Neither the player was content and argued that he never felt welcomed in Romania. Therefore on the past week he decided to cancel the loan deal and returned to Spain.

Elche FC from Segunda División got interested in the ex-Alavés attacker as soon as they realized that he was returning from Romania. After some negotiations and even a menace to join Deportivo’s trainings the three parties reached an agreement. It’s a loan deal lasting the entire 2010/11 season, Elche had to pay €200,000 for the loan, but later Bodipo himself offered to pay this amount from his wages, this in order to close the operation as soon as possible.

The final agreement was confirmed on Sunday and the player was presented at his new club on Monday. During the event he was expressing his satisfaction with this new opportunity, "I come with the hope of starting to work, to be fine and bring joy to the city and the fans. Where I have been, I've always tried to be a reference. I am arriving in order to work, to be at hundred percent and take care of myself, because when you work hard then you end up seeing the results. I want to feel like a footballer again."
