Depor’s coach and the players were asking for patience and to avoid panic after the second defeat on the season; meanwhile Lillo was affirming that he still in danger at Almeria.

Coach Miguel Ángel Lotina was explaining the things he saw during the game, “The match was conditioned since the first goal, since the first corner. I don’t know what happened, but they placidly found the ball at our area. In the second goal we just were unlucky. Then we were better in the second half, at times we were risking, but the first goal never came and the team noticed the fatigue.”

Later he was asking for patience as the team still without seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, "It is going to be a difficult year; we must be prepared. This is the time for professionals, and we have missed the needed confidence, no matter the reason why. A lot of time still ahead; I recognize this is a strong hit, but a lot of time still ahead and I still trusting in this squad."

“We must be focused. If we don’t lose our minds then the results will come. This isn’t a matter of fifteen days, neither one month. This is just starting and we need to assume the things with the needed seriousness, and always thinking that we still have the time.” He added.

One of the captains at the team, Juan Carlos Valerón, was trying to calm the things after suffering the second defeat in a row, “Neither is to be overly alarmed, but it’s true that the start in liga wasn’t good. During any season there are always negative streaks and if it happens at this stage then it looks a little worse. You have to know how to face these moments, at other times we have been able to respond and we'll see if we can get out of this and if things will be better."

"We must be realistic: we haven’t had a good start. Now we have enough time to react and it would be worse if the same would be happening at other stage of the season; We need to react and that's what we have to try.” El Flaco added.

Other of the captains at the team, Manuel Pablo, showed his confidence in the team in an emphatic way, “I believe we have enough team to react and to not face further problems.” Later the Canarian was also asking for patience, “We aren’t living yet a critical situation, today’s match should have been won, but the team leaked quick and easy goals.”

It was exactly the same response of Depor’s third captain, Juan Rodriguez, “We have the right squad and more variants compared to other seasons.” The Andalusian midfielder said.

Meanwhile, Mexican Andrés Guardado was giving hi opinion on Depor’s current poor moment, "When these things happen you end thinking the worst and people start questioning the performance of the players and the tactics. Today we didn’t yield, but hopefully the results will come soon."

“In the toughest moments is when the group needs to be more united and closing all the gaps. We should be aware that nobody will come to save us. We are the ones that should save the situation and still have plenty of time, and that’s the best news.”

President Augusto César Lendoiro, who is known for been patient with his coaches, was expressing his confidence on Lotina, “I hope we will overcome this situation as soon as possible, though a lot of games still ahead. I just confirm my confidence in the coach and the players, they are the first ones that want to surpass this hole.”

At Almeria, coach Juanma Lillo was saying that his situation at the Andalusian team hasn’t changed after this victory, "If there was an ultimatum I imagine that it will continue. Things were favourable since the beginning. That's football. The first attempt went in, the second hit the crossbar and later it fell into one of our players. This limits the anxiety, because we played more relaxed, and all the pressure passed to the other side. Now I could hang a medal, but with the same development the game could have had a very different outcome. If Diego (Alves) doesn’t save that ball? if we would have ended tied 2-2? "

Central defender Albert Lopo left the game at half-time after sustaining a muscular problem (adductor, right thigh); but by Monday the Catalan defender was already training with the team, which means that he could be ready for next week’s visit to the Santiago Bernabéu, but his colleague Diego Colotto is suspended after been sent off against Almeria, therefore Lotina will have to choose between Ze Castro and Aythami Artiles for the clash against Real Madrid.
