Guardado and Rubén Pérez joined the stage at Vilalba, it was the main news on Tuesday. Meanwhile the team continues to prepare the Segunda season with two new training sessions.

As it was expected, left winger Andrés Guardado and midfielder Ruben Pérez have joined the stage of Deportivo at Vilalba. Both players attended to Plaza de Pontevedra on Tuesday and talked to sporting director Ernesto Bello, then Bello himself drove with both players to Vilalba.

They arrived in the afternoon and met new coach José Luis Oltra at the Magdalena stadium, at that moment the first team was completing the second training session of the day. It was informed that both players will join the trainings on Wednesday.

Guardado and Ruben Pérez are joining Depor’s pre-season one week later, because both saw international action throughout the summer; the Mexican winger was part of the team that clinched the title in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, while the Andalusian youngster was part of the Spanish U-21 team that won the UEFA European championship, though he didn’t play any single minute.

Adrian also had permission to join the team until Tuesday, but he broke his link with Depor on Monday and was already presented as the newest acquisition of Atletico Madrid. Right now the only player pending to join the team is striker Rodolfo Bodipo. The Equatoguinean attacker has been called for next Monday, this since he ended the season later than anybody else as his former team, Elche CF, was fighting in the promotion playoff at Segunda.

Returning to the case of Guardado and Rubén Pérez, both players have been mentioned as a possible exits during the summer; the case of the Mexican is the clearest one as Depor is trying to collect some cash with him. He was instructed by Depor to not talk to reporters, but it is know that his agent, Mario Ordiales, arrives on Friday in order to study the possible offers with Lendoiro.

On Wednesday, Ordiales talked to reporters in Mexico and said that, “We must carefully study the propositions that we have, at this point all I can say is that there is nothing regarding Andres’ future; we must see the conditions before starting to negotiate.  We are pending of a reunion with Depor’s officials, it will be at the end of the week or in the next one, so we can arrange the things. There are a lot of clubs that are interested, some are pending in selling a player, and others are worried of the issue with the EU passport, but there are no hurries. Things are like this in Europe.”

Meanwhile, the rest of the team continued to train at the A Magdalena stadium; on Tuesday there was a double session. The first one was in the morning and lasted one and a half hour; it was a tactical  session in which coach Oltra ordered the players to attempts shots on target; Ze Castro skipped this training as he still dragging a quadriceps injury. He worked apart.

But the Portuguese central defender was already fine in the afternoon and joined the team for the second training of the day, which was more physical. To mention that the weather has been cold and rainy within the last days in Galicia, and on Monday the team had to train under the rain. On Wednesday the routine will be repeated as the team will work in a double shift.
