There are a lot of rumours about the next signing of Depor, which should be the so-wished striker, some say that it’s non-other than Xisco, but it seems that there is another surprise planned by Lendoiro.

On Saturday the club officially confirmed the arrival of keeper German Lux, and the other player close to join Depor is Xisco, on the same day the agent and brother of the striker, Antonio Tejada, talked with and admitted that his exit from Newcastle United was close to happen, ”Newcastle is more open to allow his exit than we originally thought, and the operation could take place soon.”

Depor already offered to extend the loan of the Majorcan attacker, but The Magpies were not convinced about the operation and were offering the players across the Spanish Primera División, but Xisco’s agent said that he already rejected two offers from Primera and that his only goal is to sign for Depor, What’s clear is that Xisco wants to return to Deportivo and it’s his main option, above any offer from Primera He said.

Currently Newcastle is making a pre-season tour in New York, while Xisco is training with the second team in England; Antonio Tejada told to that one of the options is to cancel the contract of the striker with Newcastle, he still have two years and the negotiations could start on this week; it was also commented that the player is ready to cut his wages to less than the half of what he earns at the Premier League, all in order to help Depor to achieve the promotion.

There are high rumours that Deportivo will bring an additional attacker besides the possibility of Xisco, after Friday’s friendly game against Viveiro, coach Oltra talked to reporters and said that, “He [Ernesto Bello] is working in order to bring the central attacker and the other players that we want, and I believe that more than one will come… but well, he has commented some things to me and I hope that it will happen soon.” Later, the coach was asked if he meant to bring two strikers, and he said that, “I didn’t mean that, I wanted to say than more than one player, but it is true, it might be a second attacker.”

Then, journalist Fran Hermida from Radio Cadena Ser reported that Depor was looking to Argentina in order to bring a new goalkeeper and a new striker, hours later Depor Sport was releasing the news on Argentine goalie Lux. So, in the end Depor could be preparing the arrival of a South American attacker, who could be the sixth signing after the four confirmed reinforcements (Ayoze, Salomão, Jesús Vázquez and Luz) plus the open case of Xisco.
