Oltra is worried as he sees that Deportivo commits the same errors of the past, but at the same time don’t want to excuse the performance in the casualties hitting the team.

Coach José Luis Oltra was trying to explain this new disappointment of Deportivo, “The problem is related to the performance, the awareness and the ability to play good football. Soon we allowed a goal that determined the fate of the match, because we had to play trying to come from behind. We played badly, and when you play badly you will usually lose."

He was also recognizing that the defeat is painful as it was similar to the setback at Alcorcón, “"The problem is that the errors are repetitive compared to our previous exit, and this is not positive for Deportivo. We need to get up, work hard, correct and improve."

A journalist asked if the absence of Guardado was determinant for Deportivo, mainly in the sett-pieces, and the answer was that, “The problem is to take care of the details, of who ends the plays, the confidence… we can’t depend of Guardado. We have other men for the set-pieces like Saúl, Ayoze of the same Valerón. The casualties aren’t an excuse. I never complained when we won, and won’t do it now.”

Finally, Oltra was referring to the upcoming clash with Alcoyano for Copa Del Rey, “These are different competitions, with different teams on the pitch and the goals are different. It has nothing to do. We play at the Riazor and the intention is to pass the round.”

The only player that talked to reporters at the pitch of El Collao was Juan Carlos Valerón, he said that, “We missed tranquility on this match; we lost and football is like this; now is time to wake up and try to go forward.”

At Alcoyano, coach David Porras was content and at the same time surprised with the final result, “It’s something pretty to defeat a rival like Deportivo La Coruña. The true is that my players keep surprising me. The rival met a tough team, plus a field of small dimensions and it made more difficult their job.”
