POSSIBLE EXITS FROM DEPORTIVO

03 Jul 2006
Duscher and Tristn seem to be the main candidates to be transferred during the summer market. Yesterday it was reported that Newcastle is negotiating for the Argentinean midfielder, but Lendoiro isn't discarding other possibilities. Meanwhile, Tristn could find his destiny in Italy. Momo is another player that has been followed by several clubs in Spain.

The transfer of Aldo Duscher to the Premiership seems to be one of the main issues that Depor will negotiate during the present week. Yesterday newspaper El Ideal Gallego informed that Newcastle and Deportivo already begun the negotiations for the player, but sportpaper AS has informed that Duscher has other possible destinations: Manchester United, Tottenham and West Ham.

The same source claims that Lendoiro will talk with Duscher's agents on Wednesday or Thursday in order to take a final decision. A renewal with Deportivo is also a possibility that Lendoiro is studying (Duscher's contracts ends in June of 2007), but this is a remote choice. Coach Caparrs has given his approval for his exit and all appoints that Duscher will play in England during the next season.

Diego Tristn had the same destiny since clubs like Bolton, Manchester City and Wigan are interested in his services, but now things might change. It has been reported by AS that Fiorentina and Torino are joining the race for the Sevillan striker. Gaetano Mari is one of the agents that's managing the operation and he confirmed to AS that the future of Tristn could be in Italy: "Fiorentina and Torino are the two clubs that want to sign him. I have been working in this operation during the last two weeks and I hope that during the next days, the situation will be more clear."

AS also confirms that Lendoiro is asking 3.5 million for Tristn, an amount that only Fiorentina could afford, besides Luca Toni has several offers and they might be forced to search for a replacement since Fiorentina would play in Champions League during the next season. The scandal in Italy for the 'Moggi-gate' could also affect Fiorentina and it's one of the things that can stop the operation, the same Mari admitted this situation: "It won't be an easy operation, first for what Depor is asking for, then we have to remember the situation that the Italian football is living. We will have to wait and see how the things are going to end."

Momo is another player that has been followed by several clubs. Vecindario, Castelln, Nastic, Levante and Mlaga are interested in him, but the Canarian player had admitted that he will like to return to Las Palmas: "I have offers coming from some Primera clubs (Levante and Nastic), but if I have to play in Segunda, I want to do it in Las Palmas. I talked with the officials of the club and they encouraged me to do it. Now all depends on Deportivo."

Other players that are searching for an exit are Rben Castro and Xisco. This two players don't count in Caparrs' new project, but the club don't want to sell them, instead it's expected the negotiation of a loan spell with other Primera clubs. Levante and Mallorca have showed their interest in Rben while Xisco could end in Segunda. Tenerife is the club that has showed more interest in the Mallorca-born striker.

Meanwhile the future of Jorge Andrade is uncertain. He was the main candidate to leave before to his serious injury suffered in the liga game with Barcelona. Now there aren't rumours appointing his exit. In fact newspaper La Opinin a Corua is reporting that his early recuperation could affect Caparrs' plans for the season (he has started to train with Portugal's national team two weeks before to the term that was expected).

The Sevillan coach asked for a fifth central defender since Andrade and Juanma were out of his plans for injury reasons (Juanma will miss action during the next two months), but the progress of Andrade could change his plans. Miguel ngel Llera (27) was the main candidate for the job, but now Depor is waiting to see if Andrade will be ready to start normally the season. This means that the Portuguese defender is still in the plans of the club, and that a possible transfer is more distant than ever.
