Two weeks are left to close the transfer market and Deportivo has signed eight players, right now the club is only pending to sign a striker and to resolve the situation of the players that don’t count for Oltra.

La liga kick-offs on Saturday and Deportivo has practically completed its squad ahead of the returning campaign to Primera. Until this point the Galician club has allowed the exit of eight players: left winger Andrés Guardado, central defender Diego Colotto, midfielder Borja Fernandez, left-back Claudio Morel, right winger Pablo Álvarez, strikers Lassad Nouioui and Xisco, plus centre back David Rochela, this last one loaned to Racing Santander.

Meanwhile, other eight men have joined the team: centre midfielders André Santos and Abel Aguilar, centre backs Roderick Miranda and Carlos Marchena, wingers Pizzi and Javier Camuñas, left-back defender Evaldo plus striker Nélson Oliveira.

At this point the team is composed by 26 players, two of them -Juan Dominguez and Diego Seoane- can be inscribed as B team members, so the list of first team players is reduced to 24, meaning that there’s an empty slot allowing the arrival of the last signing.

And that last signing could be a striker; president Augusto César Lendoiro said on Monday that the club will try to close this last incorporation though he said that it could take a while, therefore it’s highly probable that this striker won’t be part of the team facing the first two matchdays against Osasuna and Valencia CF. For now there are three names linked with Deportivo: Leonardo Ulloa (26, UD Almeria), Christian Stuani (25, Reggina Calcio) and Oribe Peralta (28, Santos Laguna).

But the club will also study the possibility of allowing the exit of more players; Lendoiro told to the press that the club will only allow the exit of the men that won’t have too many minutes and that aren’t part of Oltra’s plans, in this sense there are three names on this short list: right winger Saul Fernandez, playmaker Juan Carlos Real and right-back Diego Seoane.

So, with the transfer window closing its doors on August 31, Deportivo has practically completed its squad for the Primera campaign. Still, the club could end completing the last moves during the last day on the market, something that’s already the landmark of Lendoiro.
