The signing of Antonio Barragn has been completed although the defender hasn't signed his contract with Depor. Barragn is concentrated with Spain's U-19 national team and it's expected that he can find a free day in his schedule in order to pass the medical tests. The Galician player will sign a five-year contract. Meanwhile, Estoyanoff is the other player near to being signed.

Antonio Barragn (19) has finally completed his move to Riazor. informed that the negotiation has been completed, the only thing left is the signature of the player on his new contract, a fact that cant be completed at this time since the defender is concentrated with Spain's U-19 national team. The squad will play the European Championship that will take place in Poland.

The amount of the transfer hasn't been reported, but according to Skysports, Depor will pay Liverpool 2.5 million and Barragn will sign a five-year contract. However, the Reds will have a buyout option over the player, a clause that the English club could use after the first two seasons, later they could only use the buyout clause at the end of the initial contract. The amount of this buyout clause hasn't been informed.

Barragn is a multifunctional player that can perform in three positions: right wingback, central defender and right winger. Liverpool's Rafa Bentez was delighted with him and suggested his signing in 2005, although the youngster never debuted with Sevillas first squad. The defender never played in the Premiership, but he had the opportunity to play a Champions League match during the past season.

The initial idea of Bentez was to give more opportunities to Barragn, for that reason a loan spell was planned for the season 2006/2007, but Caparrs said to Lendoiro that he trusts in the player and asked for his transfer. Depor's president has been negotiating for the past two weeks, and he has finally reached an agreement with the Premiership club.

Barragn will be presented in the following days, the exact date will depend in the progress of Spain's U-19 team in the European tournament. Barragn is the seventh signing for the next season after Lendoiro secured the incorporations of: Lopo, Pablo Alvarez, Juan Rodriguez, Bodipo, Riki and Cristian. The club hasn't confirmed the deal with Pablo Alvarez and Juan Rodriguez as yet. It's expected that these two players and Lopo will be presented in the next week since Lendoiro returned from Madrid yesterday.

In the last hours it was known that Lendoiro was negotiating with Fabin Estoyanoff (23). The Uruguayan player was notified during the week that he doesn't count for Quique Flores and he started to search for an exit. Caparrs was asking for another right winger since Pablo Alvarez will be injured until December (Cristian is the other choice that was signed recently). Estoyanoff fulfils Caparrs requirements: he is skilful and has experience playing in Primera. Estoyanoff was loaned out during the last season to Cdiz after been bought by Valencia in a operation that cost 4 million.

The same Lendoiro confirmed that he has negotiated with the player and that for the moment the only thing left is to talk with Valencia: "We have an agreement with the player, Carboni (Valencia's sporting director) has been out of the city and that has stopped the negotiations. But things smell really good." This was the comment made by Depor's president when he arrived to La Corua yesterday. The main problem is that Valencia only wants to loan out the player for one season, while Depor wants his transfer or at least a buyout option.

Lendoiro's trip to Madrid helped to secure the signing of Barragn and started the negotiation for Estoyanoff, but the journey also had other motives: Dudu Aoute (28) and lvaro Arbeloa (23). The signing of the goalkeeper is one of the most crucial things for coach Caparrs. He only counts with Fabricio, the keeper of Fabril. Muna is searching for the door out while Dani Mallo hasn't decided his future as yet.

Lendoiro wants to sign Racing's keeper Aouate. The trip to Madrid was the first step in order to negotiate his incorporation, but the problems inside of the Cantabrian club are delaying the operation. Lpez Caro abandoned Racing a few days ago and the president of the club, Francisco Perna, had to search for an emergency alternative (Miguel ngel Portugal). These difficulties have postponed the meeting between Perna and Lendoiro. The reunion was expected for yesterday, but at the end it will occur during the next week. This means that Depor will start the pre-season on Tuesday with Muna as the only alternative for the goal keeping position.

The other player that Lendoiro is following is lvaro Arbeloa. The Real Madrid player  is one of the jewels that Depor's president is wishing to sign. According to newspaper El Ideal Gallego, Arbeloa is the selected choice by Caparrs in order to complete his defensive squad. The agent of the player is Manolo Garca Quiln, a person in which Lendoiro trusts and that has negotiated the transfers of Juan Rodriguez and Alexis Ruano before.

Quiln said on the Galician radio that he will talk with Real Madrid's authorities during the next week in order to find an exit for the player. The agent also represents the rights of the midfielders  Jos Manuel Jurado (20) and Rben De La Red (21). Players that are also in Lendoiro's list of possible reinforcements and that could be negotiated in the same 'package'.
