Deportivo has signed ten players so far, but the job isn't over yet and Lendoiro has continued to fulfil Caparrs' petitions. The last case known is ngel Guirado, a right wingback that is near to signing his incorporation to the club. Rumours appoint that he might join Vecindario because of the overbooking in the Galician team.

ngel Guirado is probably the most bizarre case during this summer market. The 23-year-old player was discarded by Crdoba (a club from Segunda B) and he was near to obtain his freedom (his contract ends in June of 2007). Guirado was competing with other youngsters for the position of right winger, a race that he lost against Javi Lara, another promise in Crdoba. Curiously, Lara was loaned out to Real Unin and Depor's interest in Guirado has caused a change in the plans.

Suddenly, Crdoba's officials were suggesting that he is an 'important player' in their squad and requested to negotiate with Deportivo. The club's director, Rafael Rojas, explained the situation to newspaper ABC: "The first offer made by Depor was discarded because it wasn't a good one. We must remind that we will have to sign a replacement and any substitute will mean an important investment to us."

But why is Deportivo interested in a player that has been discarded in Segunda B? a question that has a simple answer: Joaqun Caparrs. The Sevillan coach trusts in this youngster and he asked for his signing. The new offer made by Lendoiro is for 50,000 and includes a contract for three or four campaigns. According to the media in Crdoba, the Malaga-born player will be loaned out to Vecindario. In this way Guirado will have to convince Caparrs if he wants to join Deportivo in the next campaigns. It will be the third Depor player loaned out to the Canarian club after the cases of Xisco and Ivn Carril.

Guirado played as right wingback in Crdoba, but the Andalucian was loaned out to Atltico Madrid B in the past season and there he performed as right winger, a position that he filled with good comments made by the Madrilian coaches. He can also play as an offensive midfielder. With Guirado in, the club will have eleven new faces in the first squad, a number that will be increased since the club stills searching for a goalkeeper.
