The club has completed the signings of three new players for Fabril, while Iago Beceiro left the team. The new management is trying to reinforce a squad that’s completing a poor season at Tercera División.

Moved week at Fabril, so far three reinforcements have been sealed and there will be more, while one player left and more could follow the same path. It’s the consequence of the poor season lived by Devesa’s team and the fact that the signings at the club have been unblocked after the arrival of the new management.

Currently the B squad of Deportivo is lying at the 14th position; fifteen points below the promotion zone and only eight above the pit. The coaching staff is convinced that the team needs reinforcements, mainly for the attacking line, and on this week the club completed the first three arrivals to the team.

The first two are attackers: winger Miguel Filipe Nunes Cardoso (19, Real Sport Clube) and forward Marc Nierga (21, Osasuna B). Both players arrive for free with a contract lasting until June. Cardoso can perform on both wins and reinforces a position that’s lacking powder.  Meanwhile, Nierga is a Catalan attacker that scored 6 goals in 13 games during the present Tercera season. He will now compete with Dani Iglesias, Álex Pérez and Chiño.

The third reinforcement is a well-known face: goalkeeper Marc Martinez. The 23-year-old keeper returns after a short stage at Elche Ilicitano (Elche B). He left Depor B during the summer and returns as a consequence of Lux’s injury.

Depor’s plan is to use Marc Martinez as the substitute for Fabricio until German Lux is recovered, then the Catalan goalie will go to Depor B in order to compete for a spot with David Gómez, Rodrigo Iglesias ‘Rodri’ and Felipe Ramos, though the last two could rescind their contracts in the next hours.

A fourth signing is expected for the coming hours: Croatian striker Tonći Mujan. He’s 18 and comes loaned from Hajduk Split with a buyout option between the €300,000 & €400,000. There are high expectations with him as he was pretended by Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspurs.

About exits, Iago Beceiro left the club on Wednesday after he requested it. The striker/winger joined the club in the summer and was living a second stage at the club, but faced problems with coach Jose Luis Devesa, reason why he wasn’t picked for several games. That’s why he requested to rescind is contract. Still, he was one of the top-scorers on the current Tercera season (5goals, same mark than Cañi).
