RUDY & TELES LOANED OUT

01 Feb 2014
The last two exits at Deportivo took place on deadline day. Rudy and Teles were loaned out and will try to gain minutes in order to return reinforced ahead of next season.

Surprises at Deportivo on deadline day. Carlos Wilson Cachicote ‘Rudy’ and Paulo Teles were initially in the list of picked players for the game Vs. CE Sabadell CF, but early in the afternoon it was rumored that both were at the door out. And later president Tino Fernández confirmed that the club was trying to loan them out ahead of the second part of the season.

Shortly after the club revealed that Rudy is going loaned to Portuguese Clube de Futebol Os Belenenses, team that’s currently performing at the Liga Zon Sagres, while Teles is going out loaned to CD Guijelo, club from Segunda B that’s currently fighting for the promotions seats to Segunda A.

The reason for these loans is to see the duo gaining minutes as they didn’t have too many chances in the first part of the season. Besides, a last-minute opportunity appeared in the marked and the club tried to close it, reason why a couple of slots were needed.

Rudy arrived during the summer window and never got a starring role at Fernando Vázquez’s first team. After been a starter in four of the first five games, he only entered in the plans as the coach had a short team. Totally he played 922 minutes in 18 Segunda appearances only providing one assist.

Meanwhile, Teles has been performing at Depor B since last season. He was one of the youngsters that made the pre-season stage with the first team. His presence at Segunda was reduced to three games (89 minutes), including his first appearance as a starter on the recent 1-2 loss against UD Las Palmas.

Teles’ problems is that he spent more time on the first team’s bench than with Fabril, on the Tercera season his presence was reduced to 10 games (671 minutes) only scoring one goal. This loan means experience to him in a competitive league as Segunda B.
