The next two signings for the new season could be Lucas Pérez & Eyong Enoh. The Galician attacker has been fighting in order to return to his homeland, while the Cameroonian midfielder is also close to join Deportivo.

Lucas Pérez Martínez seems close to sign for Depor. The A Coruña-born player is 25 and currently belongs to PAOK FC. He is a striker that can perform in other positions, especially on the left wing, spot in which he played on last season for PAOK FC scoring 9 goals in liga plus providing 12 assists.

He’s an old target of the club, actually former president Lendoiro was close to sign him two years ago for the previous campaign at Primera, but the deal collapsed as the player had already performed for two clubs in that same season. Now the operation is only possible due to the will of the player, because he has been pushing strongly in order to join Deportivo after the club presented an offer to PAOK FC. The offer was a loan with the Galician club paying part of the player’s wages.

According to website, the Greek club firstly rejected the offer as they weren’t going to lose money with a player that was considered important at their team, but later changed their mind due to the pressure put by Lucas. In the end they accept the exit of the player as they don’t want to have anybody against their will.

PAOK FC started their pre-season stage on this week and it was reported by that Lucas already left the stage in order to prepare his trip to A Coruña. On Thursday he had a meeting with the Greek club in order to solve the terms of his exit, though there were no comments made by the player after leaving PAOK’s stadium.

Still, it is understood that in the coming hours Lucas will join Depor in a loan operation with terms that still to be announced. Lucas would arrive in order to reinforce the attacking line; he could end performing on the left wing, though Fernando Vázquez could also opt in using him in other position as second striker or even as central attacker.

Meanwhile, centre midfielder Enyong Enoh is 28 and just played the FIFA World Cup 2014 with Cameroon. Newspaper La Opinión A Coruña advanced the news on last week and on Thursday they confirmed that he’s about to sign for Depor.

The source didn’t clarify the terms of the operation, but advanced he could sign for two seasons. Enoh is a defensive midfielder that played before for Ajax, club that early on this year sold the player to Turkish Antalyaspor for €300,000 (he signed a contract lasting until 2016).

If these signings are finally confirmed then coach Fernando Vázquez will have two new faces at the first team. Currently the club has only made one signing ahead of the Primera campaign 2014/15: left-back Roberto Canella.
