The midfielder from Real Madrid Castilla arrives today in order to complete the medicals. It’s a loan without a buyout option, while Depor and Sevilla CF already have an agreement for centre-back Alberto Botía.

The fourth signing for the season 2014/15 will be José Rodriguez. The 19-year-old midfielder has played the last two campaigns with Real Madrid Castilla and even had the chance to debut with the first team of Los Blancos during the era with Jose Mourinho. He performs as a centre midfielder though in the last campaign played more often as a playmaker.

Some of the details in the operation were revealed on Saturday by newspaper La Opinión A Coruña. It’s a loan spell for one season and the deal doesn’t include a buyout option, instead there’s a clause in which Depor won’t have to pay anything for the loan in case the youngster plays a certain number of matches. The exact number of games in this clause wasn’t revealed.

The arrival of Rodriguez is expected for today; he will undergo the medicals and will have to train alone during the whole week as the rest of the squad –with the exception of Wilk and Lucas- are currently in South America.

Meanwhile, Deportivo and Sevilla CF already have an agreement for the loan of centre midfielder Alberto Botía. The 25-year-old player was transferred to Sevilla in 2012 as the Andalusians paid €2.5 million. Last season he played loaned at Elche CF and according to Radio Galega, the Galicians and the Andalusians already have an agreement for the player despite coach Unai Emery was initially counting with him for the new season.

It’s a loan deal and for the moment it isn’t known if it includes a buyout option. The deal could be signed at the end of next week and the player could be already in A Coruña at the time the team returns from the tour in Colombia.
