The transfer window will be closed on next Monday and coach Víctor Fernández is still waiting for his three last reinforcements. There are no fresh news regarding Mitroglou and Depor are still searching for two centre-backs.

The summer market window will close its doors on Monday September 1, so Deportivo have exactly one week in order to close the three last reinforcements long awaited by coach Víctor Fernández: one centre forward and two centre-backs.

Konstantinos Mitroglou (26, Fulham FC) is one of the soap operas during the window. Deportivo have been trying to close his arrival since two weeks ago, but the negotiations remain in the same dead point. On Monday, Radio Galega was reporting a verbal agreement with the player, but it seems that Depor’s last offer hasn’t convinced yet the Cottagers. One week ago, Ernesto Bello stated the club had other options, but so far no names have been reported.

Meanwhile, the club is still trying to sign two centre-backs. The main targets so far are Iván Ramis (29, Wigan FC) and Jordan Lotičs (30, CA Osasuna). Radio Galega also reported a verbal agreement with Ramis and the pending subject is to negotiate with Wigan, while Depor are waiting to see French Lotičs rescinding his contract with the Navarran outfit. Henrique Sereno was ruled out as an option during the weekend as he hasn’t solved his problems with his club.

There are several comments in the media regarding the possibility of signing a fourth player, but it will depend on the situation with the salary cap after completing the other three operations. This fourth signing might be another striker or another centre midfielder.
