Víctor Fernández announced changes at the lineup for the upcoming meetings due to the tight schedule. Fariña will probably be available for the game against Real Madrid, while Canella is doubtful.

Deportivo will make rotations at the lineup ahead of the next three meetings, it was announced by coach Víctor Fernández after the visit to SD Eibar, ”We have to face three games in eight days, tough the meetings come really close, all of them represent a high demand. I’ll have to make an extensive use of the squad, because we cannot play the three meetings with the same eleven men, because we need to remember that we have a deficit before the other rivals.”

The good news on Thursday was that playmaker Luis Fariña joined the training session and is available for the coach, though he will received the medical okay to play until today. The return of the Argentine man, who skipped the previous match with SD Eibar due to muscle injury, is increasing the options to perform with a 4-2-3-1.

However, there were also bad news as left-back Roberto Canella picked a toe injury, though he isn’t out of the game –he will be assessed on Friday- If Canella is recovered before Saturday, then Víctor Fernández will have 21 players available for the game against Real Madrid, number that will be increased to 22 for the meeting with RC Celta as José Rodriguez will be set to play. It means the coach can perfectly use two different teams in each game.

Still, it’s expected that some men will play in both games. The Aragonian coach will test the lineup for the first game until today (a session behind closed doors at Abegondo), later he will address the media at the press room and will release the list of picked players for the match. A novelty in this opportunity is that the picked players will be concentrated at Hotel Meliá since Friday’s night, though this could turn to be normal for the home games after last week’s signed deal with the hotel.

For now it’s hard to predict the lineup or the disposition of the players on the pitch, but it seems that five players have a secure spot: keeper German Lux, centre-backs Albert Lopo and Sidnei Rechel, plus centre midfielders Álex Bergantiños and Juan Dominguez.
