Deportivo are the fourth team in la liga with more players used during the league season. Of the 29 players that passed through the first team on this season only Borja López and Diego Seoane are pending to debut.

Twenty-nine players have passed through Deportivo on this season, three of them already left the club: Modibo Diakité, who was released during the winter market, plus Diego Seoane and Juan Carlos, the first was loaned to CD Lugo and the second has a special clause after signing for CD Tenerife.

Other four players arrived during the winter window: Oriol Riera (loaned from Wigan Athletic), centre midfielder Celso Borges (loaned from Gimnástic), winger Hélder Costa (loaned from SL Benfica) and centre-back Borja López (loaned from AS Monaco).

Of this large list, 27 already had minutes in this liga season. Diogo Salomão was the last one to debut after entering in the second half of the match against RCD Espanyol. The Portuguese winger had only played in Copa Del Rey and this was his first appearance in the league competition.

Therefore, there are two men that haven’t played any minute, the first one is Seoane, who won’t play with Depor this season and the other is Borja López, who is still waiting to debut after arriving in January.

The 27 players with minutes in liga for Deportivo represents the fourth highest number at Primera División during this campaign, the three clubs with more men in liga are Granada CF (34), Córdoba (32) and Levante UD (29).

It might look like a high number, but the true is that it has been the normal thing at Deportivo within the last seasons. Actually in four of the previous six seasons the number of players in liga was bigger, starting with the past campaign, time when coach Fernando Vázquez used 30 players in the Segunda tournament.
