No big surprises are expected in the lineup that will face Getafe CF; still Víctor Fernández can end up making three changes for Sunday. At least one change is expected as Albert Lopo is suspended.

Deportivo remain winless within the last six games, but coach Víctor Fernández doesn’t seem ready to change the 4-2-3-1 system that he has been using lately. Taking in mind the team will play three games in the next eight days he will surely make some rotations, but it won’t be the case to face Getafe CF.

During the week he only tested three new things. The first is a forced change as Albert Lopo is suspended. The natural replacement to join Sidnei Rechel is Pablo Insua, but on Wednesday the coach tested with Manuel Pablo. Still, it’s expected that the ex-Fabril is going to be a starter.

The other two possible modifications are taking place at midfield. Celso Borges joined the trainings until Friday and, after the long trip and playing two complicate games with Costa Rica, he could be benched on Sunday or in Wednesday’s game against Córdoba CF. His replacement would be Haris Medunjanin, who was tested alongside Álex Bergantiños during Wednesday’s session.

The Bosnian was also busy during the international break, but his trip was shorter and besides he didn’t play the 90 minutes in both games. The other possible change is taking place at the right wing. During Thursday the coach was testing with José Rodriguez. The entry of the Valencia player will mean that either Iván Cavaleiro or Luis Fariña will start Sunday’s game on the bench.

Only three men are out injured: Hélder Postiga, Cezary Wilk and Diogo Salomão; it means that the coach has 23 players available for the other two games facing Córdoba CF and Real Sociedad. Enough men to prepare both meetings and to make rotations.
