Deportivo are trying to keep Sidnei, Lucas Pérez, Salomão and Oriol Riera. The four players were loaned to Depor and now the club is trying to get their permanent services.

The club is working in four fronts in order to keep players that were important in the season that has just ended. Depor’s officials consider that centre-back Sidnei Rechel, playmaker Lucas Pérez, winger Diogo Salomão and striker Oriol Riera should be important pieces for the next campaign and are trying to keep them.

The four of them were loaned and now the club want to get them on a permanent basis. The negotiations are open with their clubs and could be completed in the coming days. In the case of Lucas, there’s a buyout option for €2.5 million in the contract and Deportivo are now trying to reduce the amount.

According to La Opinión A Coruña, Depor are offering €1.5 million, while PAOK FC are asking for €2.2 million. Other sources like Radio Onda Cero announced that both clubs had already reached an agreement.

More complex is the case with Sidnei. The defender ends his contract with SL Benfica in 2016 and, according to Portuguese paper Record, SL Benfica want €5 million for the player, while Depor offer €1.5 million to get part of the rights. According to the source, the defender could sign a contract extension and would end playing for the Galicians with both clubs sharing the transfer rights.

In the case of Oriol Riera, the comment was that Depor were offering €500,000, a proposal that was initially rejected. For now both clubs are still negotiating. Finally, Deporte Campeón reported that Sporting CP don’t count with Salomão and that he could end cancelling his contract to later sign a three-year deal with Deportivo.

A fifth player in this short list is Iván Cavaleiro. The club wants the attacker o stay, but at the same time they know it will be hard as there are other clubs targeting his signing, just to mention that AS Monaco was related to him on last week.
