Midfielder Luis Alberto is the fifth signing for the season 2015/16. The Spanish playmaker/winger is coming loaned from Liverpool FC. He will undergo the medicals on Monday.

On Sunday Deportivo confirmed the signing of Luis Alberto Romero. The 22-year-old attacker is coming loaned from Liverpool FC. During the week his name was linked with Depor and it was even rumoured that there could be a buyout option, but it hasn’t been confirmed. For the moment Deportivo only informed that he will undergo the medicals on Monday.

Luis Alberto is a promising attacker that impressed in his stages at the B squads of Sevilla CF and FC Barcelona. He can perform as a playmaker, centre midfielder and recently was used as a winger. Despite leaving a good impression in Spain, it was Liverpool FC the club that bet on him in 2013 paying €8 million. After not playing too much in the campaign 2013/14, he was loaned to Malaga CF on last season.

With the Andalusians he played fifteen games and scored twice leaving a good impression. Now he lands at Depor with the approval of Víctor Sánchez, who knows him from his stage at Sevilla CF (the coach was the assistant of Michel at the time).

Luis Alberto is the fifth official signing of Deportivo after the arrivals of left-backs Saúl García and Fernando Navarro, plus centre-back Alejandro Arribas and striker Oriol Riera. The club also completed the renewals of centre midfielder Juan Dominguez and right-back Manuel Pablo.
