Lucas Pérez is trying to find the door out at PAOK FC; his indiscipline actions already cost him the relation with new coach Igor Tudor. The Greek club believes this is a provocation.

It seems that Lucas Pérez will be the soap opera of Deportivo for the second straight summer market. Depor had a buyout option over the player (€2.5 million), but the Galicians were only offering €1.5 million to PAOK FC and the option already expired without reaching an agreement, so the player returned to Greece and joined the team that was preparing the Europa League qualification round under the command of new coach Igor Tudor.

But instead of accepting the situation Lucas seems to be determined to leave and his behavior is causing problems inside of PAOK FC, to the point that it already cost him the relegation with Tudor. Two weeks ago it was reported that the coach called his attention for been talking during the trainings and when he was giving orders to the players.

On Tuesday the player was fined for not using shin guards, one day later he didn’t pay the fine and was still training without using the shin guards. Tudor, who seems to be a very strict coach, decided to expel the player from the concentration due to this case plus other indiscipline actions referred by the club only as “underperformance”, so and Lucas was left out of the team facing the first-leg game against NK Lokomotiva.

PAOK FC understands this behavior as “blackmail” and won’t allow the exit of the player at any cost. Iván Leko, one of Tudor’s assistants, explained the situation to the media in Greece, “Any player who wants to leave can go talk to the sporting director. If you have a problem you fix it in the office of the club, but if you think that creating problems in the group is a form of blackmail, then the players are wrong."
