Víctor has found a lineup, but the fact of playing three games in a matter of eight days might move him to make rotations. The return of the injured men can be an influence in his decision.

One of the main conclusions after Depor had a good start in liga is that coach Víctor Sánchez has quickly found a lineup. Truly with different draws as he has rotated between the 4-2-3-1, the 4-3-3 and the 4-1-4-1, but in the end he has used the same men with changes only caused by the injuries.

But there could be changes on next week as Deportivo will play three games in a matter of eight days, truly only one game will be played on the road (Thursday at Real Betis), but with only three days separating the last two games it is tempting to rotate players, not only to rest the starters, but to give chances to the men that haven’t debuted yet.

For now it’s expected that Víctor will repeat the same lineup that defeated Rayo Vallecano in the home clash with Sporting Gijón, but from there men like Cani and Oriol Riera might have a chance against Real Betis and RCD Espanyol. The first hasn’t received the medical okay to play and it’s unlikely that he will be picked for the match against Sporting, but his status could change starting on Thursday.

It’s also a good chance to give minutes to the players that haven’t performed yet and that aren’t injured, apart from goalkeeper Manu, there are five men that are waiting for a chance to play: left-back Saúl Garcia, centre midfielders Haris Medunjanin and Álex Bergantiños, plus wingers Miguel Cardoso and Jonás Gutiérrez.

Other men like centre-back Albert Lopo, playmaker Fede Cartabia and striker Jonathan Rodríguez already debuted on the season, but are expecting to have a bigger impact at the team after only playing once.
