Luisinho is back, therefore only Manuel Pablo and Fabricio are the casualties for the visit to Granada CF. The rival is the bottom club and has some injury concerns before the clash.

Calmer and happier week for Deportivo; after facing two games in less than 52 hours now coach Víctor Sánchez has plenty of time to prepare the next visit to Granada CF (Los Carmenes, Saturday, 18h15 CET), to the point that the team started to plan the game until Wednesday after having a short session on Monday and resting on Tuesday.

Luisinho skipped the last session on last week and also Monday’s training due to illness, but he was fully recovered by Wednesday and is available for the coach. Therefore only two players are out of the game against the Andalusians: goalkeeper Fabricio Agosto and right-back Manuel Pablo.

In the case of Fabricio, new scans were made during this week and the results are that his knee is fine, but the bound hasn’t healed yet, therefore he will remain out for more days. The keeper was training with the team on last week, but felt some issues and the doctors decided to stop. By Wednesday he was training apart.

Meanwhile, Manuel Pablo has been completing the sessions without problems, for the past two weeks he has been training with the group, but hasn’t received the medical okay to play in order to avoid a relapse from his hamstring injury as it happened during the pre-season.

On Monday, eight players from Depor B were training with the first team: goalkeeper Anxo Pérez, left-backs Jorge Fernández and Lucas Viña, centre-back Miguel Muñoz, midfielder Santi Taboada and Manú Silva, plus playmakers Pancho Cotos and Hugo Rama. Colombian striker Juan Otero, whose signing was announced on Monday, completed part of the session and later worked with Juvenil A.

At Granada CF, coach José Ramón Sandoval is having some problems preparing the game against Deportivo. Ex-Depor midfielder Rubén Pérez (knee sprain) is out of Saturday’s game, while centre-back Diego Mainz (hamstring) is almost ruled out of the meeting.

Midfielder Fran Rico returned on last week after sustaining a rib injury, but in the game against Valencia CF he picked a knock and only completed part of Monday’s training. His participation in the game with Depor is uncertain, while midfielder Javi Marques and full-back Miguel Lopes also suffered knocks that forced them to skip the training. Still, they should be available to face Deportivo.
