More rumours about the possible departure of Duscher appear in the papers, now it seems that Manchester United is ready to pay €8 million plus one of their discarded players. Despite the rumours president Lendoiro denies any contact and affirms that the club isn't looking for any specific reinforcement during January's window.

Sportpaper AS reported yesterday that Newcastle United 'fears' to negotiate with Lendoiro about Duscher’s transfer and that instead they will try to negotiate the incorporation of Bouba Diop. Apparently the Magpies offered €8 million for the Argentinean player the last week, but the negative response of Depor's president has changed their plans.

Who is still following Duscher is Manchester United. According to AS Alex Ferguson's team is ready to offer the same amount as Newcastle (€8 million) plus a man from his list of discards. This list is formed by four players: Quinton Fortune (midfielder, 28), John O'Shea (defender, 24), Kieran Richardson (winger, 20) and Louis Saha (striker, 27).

It must be said that Saha was in the list of five strikers that Depor Sport presented as candidates to reinforce the squad during the last summer, at the end it was Sebasti??n Taborda who joined Depor. Now it seems that the future of the French forward is near to La Coru?±a once again. About the rest of the men on the list only Richardson seems like an attractive option since he performs in one of the positions that Caparr??s wants to reinforce.

Despite of all the rumours Lendoiro has denied any contact with the Premiership's giant. During the inauguration of a new medical installation at Riazor, Depor's president declared that he doesn't know anything about the case of Ducher: "The contracts exist in order to be accomplished. At least in my case, I can't assure you anything about Duscher's rumours. Maybe it's something that somebody commneted to him, but I don't know any offer for his services."

Lendoiro also commented that the club isn't searching for a specific reinforcement in the winter market; in fact, he pointed that the main thing is to know who will coach the squad on the next season: "First, we have to know who will be the trainer for the next campaign and then, with more serenity, we will advance in the other themes. We must be respectful about the procedure of the board of administration because we have plenty of time. Now, about the winter market, I can tell you that we aren't looking to sign anybody in specific, including a new striker."

With this last comment Lendoiro is trying to avoid in public any possible contact made in the case of Uche; however, Depor's president admitted that he's having conversations in order to sign the renewal of Caparr??s: "Yes it's true, both parties are talking at this point."

Finally Lendoiro said that his priority is to give an exit to the players that don't count for Caparr??s: "If C?©sar has a good offer to play somewhere else and he presents this offer to us, we will try to reach an agreement. C?©sar wants to play and we also want it. So, we will try to reach a solution that satisfies both parties"
