Before the game against SD Eibar, the club confirmed to reporters that Stipe Pletikosa will sign on next week for Depor. The deal is for six months.

36-year-old Stipe Pletikosa will sign for Depor on next week. The Croatian goalie is a free agent and is the option to replace Fabricio Agosto, who will be injured for the rest of the season. The player will arrive on next week and will sign a contract lasting until the end of the campaign. For the moment it’s the only signing expected for the winter window.

Pletikosa was playing with FC Rostov until this tear and before he performed for the Croatian national team plus other well-known clubs like Hajduk Split, Shakhtar Donetsk, Spartak Moscow and Tottenham Hotspur. In this last one he only played once.

The Croatian man is a tall player ((6 ft 4 in) that was the first choice of his country for the three matches in the group stage at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.  He will dispute a spot with Manu as the second choice behind German Lux.
