The calendar of Deportivo in December has positive things and also negative issues. Two home matches that should mean the return to the victories path, and two tough visits that will probe the value of the 'Babydepor'. However, there isn't an easy rival in la liga and anything can happen in this confrontations.

Racing de Santander will be the first rival in December. The Cantabrian team already faced Depor in copa del rey in a eliminatory that was decided from the penalty-spot. Racing suffered a poor start at the beginning of la liga with three defeats in the first three matches. But Portugal's team has found the regularly during the following nine games, Racing has only suffered one defeat in that period (0-3 Vs. Barcelona), and has achieved important results like the 1-0 win over Valencia or the 0-0 draw against Sevilla. Right now Racing is only two points behind Deportivo.

Another interesting statistic are the results achieved by Racing in La Coru?±a, the Cantabrians have only lost two of the last seven games at the Riazor including the 2-0 of the past season. The only casualty for this game is Antonio Tom??s who is injured, while Depor has to wait and see if Riki, Cristian, Arizmendi and Estoyanoff would be fit for this match.

The first visit of the month will be really tough: Valencia. Quique S??nchez Flores's team is living its worst moment of the season, the Valencians have only won one of the last seven matches, and it has been rumoured that Flores can be fired if this situation continues. It could be a good occasion to achieve the first away win of the season. Besides the record of Depor at the Mestalla has been interesting during the last years: three victories in the last six visits.

The following rival is also living a tough situation: Athletic Bilbao. The Basque club is sharing the last place of the table with N??stic, and is the only team in Primera that haven't won yet a game after twelve matchdays. The situation has caused the exit of the coach Felix Sarriugarte, and now it seems that Man?© will come in order to save this historic club. Athletic seems to be an easy victim for Deportivo, but a change of coach is always a boost for a team. Depor's players shouldn't be relaxed if they don't want to suffer any surprise on this match.

Sevilla will be the last rival of the year, a special game for coach Caparr??s and probably one of the most difficult away games of this season. The Sevillan squad has won its six games played at the S??nchez Pizju??n with an impressive mark of fifteen goals scored and only three allowed. Juande Ramos's team is living one of its best season and right now occupies the second spot in the table, only Barcelona has more points than them. Without doubt a tough task, but the motivation of Caparr??s should count too for the bets (he has a personal and secret battle with Juande Ramos). A situation demonstrated with the 2-0 win of the past season.
