Depor will repeat the lineup with the only novelty of Arribas replacing suspended Albentosa. Granada CF want to add their first victory on the season, a poor start only months after been bought by a Chinese investor.

Referee: Alberto Undiano Mallenco
Kick-off: 13h00 CET (Los Cármenes)

Granada CF is the only team at Primera División that remains winless after the first ten matchdays. In the past decade only three clubs faced a similar situation: Córdoba CF (2014/15), CA Osasuna (2008/09) & Levante UD (2007/08). And from this list only CA Osasuna avoided relegation during that season.

Among the top-5 European leagues, only other three clubs remain winless at this point: Sunderland, Hamburger SV and Ingolstadt. Also, the Andalusians have only picked a point within their last five liga games, it’s the second worst form among the main leagues, only behind Hull City (six straight defeats in the Premier League).

Neither Deportivo are living a good start to the season. The Galicians have only picked nine points, number that’s even inferior to the mark had at the same height of the previous two relegations (10 points on the seasons 2010/11 & 2012/13). Depor are also the second worst visiting team in the league with only two points after five visits, the worst team in this department is Granada CF (one point).

Coach Gaizka Garitano is content with the team that played against Valencia CF, despite missing the victory the Basque man liked what he saw and will repeat the squad of that game with only one forced modification as Alejandro Arribas enters replacing suspended Raúl Albentosa.

Team news: Midfielder Álex Bergantiños and attacker Borja Valle are back after not been picked for the home game against Valencia CF. Striker Joselu is the only player that remains at the injury room, Albentosa is suspended, while three players weren’t picked for the game due to tactical reasons: goalkeeper Rubén Martínez, winger Carles Gil and right-back Laure.

Man to watch: Attacker Marlos Moreno. The Colombian had a solid performance against Valencia CF and will repeat his presence on this match playing on the left wing. Marlos is aware of his improvement and during the week he said that that the goal is near, something that’s already a need as Babel is the only attacker that has scored on this season.

Picked players: (18) Lux, Tytoń (goalkeepers); Juanfran, Arribas, Sidnei, Navarro, Luisinho (defenders); Álex Bergantiños, Borges, Pedro Mosquera, Çolak, Guilherme, Fajr, Bruno Gama (midfielders); Ryan Babel, Marlos Moreno, Borja Valle & Florin Andone (attackers).

Predicted lineup: (4-2-3-1) Tytoń – Juanfran, Arribas, Sidnei, Luisinho – Borges, Mosquera – Bruno Gama, Çolak, Marlos Moreno – Andone.

Since May of 2016, Granada CF is owned by Link International Sports Limited, a company formed by Jiang Lizhang, a partner of the LFP in China that paid €37 million for the club. And only six months later he is already living a crisis as the team has been unable to win a game after ten matchdays. Paco Jémez was fired after only six games, now the one in command is Lucas Alcaraz, a coach used to fight for the permanence. One of the main problems is the large number of signings made on deadline day and that has suffered to adapt to the league.

Team news: Centre-backs Gastón Silva returns from an injury, though he isn’t expected to start in this game. The player out for injury reasons is full-back left-back Dimitri Foulquier (muscle), while right-back Tito was surprisingly left out of the roster for the game. Ex-Depor Isaac Cuenca was picked for the match.

Man to watch: Goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa. The Mexican has been the starter at the goal during the ten games on the season. He was pointed for several errors that cost points, but within the last two games, including the visit to FC Barcelona, he made key saves that allowed his team to only conceded one goal, a crucial factor for a team that needs points and that barely scores.

Picked players: (19) Ochoa, Oier (goalkeepers); Gastón Silva, Lombán, Gabriel Silva, Rubén Vezo, Saunier (defenders); Isaac Cuenca, Samper, Uche, Boga, Toral, Atzili, Carcela, Pereira, Angban (midfielders); Kravets, Barral & Ponce.

Predicted lineup: (4-4-2) Ochoa – Saunier, Vezo, Lombán, Gabriel Silva – Carcela, Toral, Uche, Pereira – Ponce, Kravets.
