Óscar García returned and Deportivo B clinched a third straight win to stay ascending in the quest for promotion. Borja Galán was again important.

After been suspended by the club on the previous matchday, Óscar García returned and was the only novelty at the starting eleven. coach Cristobal Parrolo was only missing Marcos Legaz for injury reasons, everybody else was available.

The draw was a 4-2-3-1, Álex Cobo was the starting goalie, Quique Fornos performed at the right side of the defence, Lucas Viña did it at the left, the centre-backs were Arnau Campeny and Nacho Monsalve. Edu Expósito and Álvaro Queijeiro were the centre midfielders, Borja Galán attacked from the left wing, Óscar García did it from the left, Manu Molina was the playmaker and Jardel was the centre forward.

The rival was Alondras CF, the team coached by Jacobo Montes is having a bad season and is trying avoid the relegation zone. Pablo Couñago, the main scorer at the team (6), was surprisingly out of the starting team, this despite the coach only had sixteen players available after the long list of casualties due to injury reasons.

Easy game for Deportivo B, Alondras CF felt the weight of having a short squad and didn’t complete any shot on target throughout the ninety minutes, so the locals only needed to seize a couple of the few chances they had to secure a new victory.

And the game had a strong start with Depor’s lads having two opportunities within the first five minutes, the main one was on the boots of Jardel, who was unable to score before visiting goalie Martín Pastoriza when he was already defeated (1’).

It seemed that the locals were going to score an early goal, but things changed and Alondras settled on the pitch, they were unable to create scoring chances, but neither allowed Fabril to have more opportunities. Óscar García was pretty active in his return and should have been awarded with a penalty after a foul of Tubo, but the referee didn’t say anything (27’).

And Fabril were able to reach the pause with the advantage in the scoresheet, this after Borja Galán found the ball at the corner of the area to end scoring his fourth goal on the season with a strong shot. Gal´na continues to be important in a team that has had offensive problems.  It was a deserving lead for the team that had the ball and that sought for the victory despite only creating a few opportunities.

Things didn’t change for the second part and the only side having chances to score was Depor B, and the locals secured the victory with a new goal from Óscar García. The winger headed the ball in after collecting a perfect cross from Lucas Viña. It is his eleventh goal on the season. A curious picture was to see him celebrating the goal apologizing to the fans.

With the result secured, Parrolo made the changes and Corredera, Carreón and Borja Domingo entered the pitch, the latter should have scored the third goal before the end, but his shot was blocked by Martín Pastoriza in a one-on-one action (84’).

Third straight victory for a team that’s starting to find the way to the promotion zone. Óscar García returned and was the most dangerous player n a team that only created a few scoring chances, but that didn’t face any opposition before a crippled team. There’s football in mid-week at Tercera División with the team visiting CD Castro (Tuesday, 16h00 CET).
