It was more difficult than expected, but Deportivo B added three more points before the last team in the group. Óscar scored twice from the penalty spot and the team returns to the third positions at the standings.

Coach Cristobal Parrolo was recovering striker Borja Domingo, who was suspended for the past game with SC Arosa. The Valencian attacker was the only novelty at the starting lineup as he replaced Jardel in attack.

The draw was a 4-2-3-1, Álex Cobo was the starting goalie, Blas Alonso performed at the right side of the defence, Lucas Viña did it at the left, the centre-backs were Quique Fornos and Nacho Monsalve. Edu Expósito and Álvaro Queijeiro were the centre midfielders, Borja Galán attacked from the right wing, Óscar García did it from the left, Manu Molina was the playmaker and Borja Domingo was the centre forward.

The rival was SD Órdenes, the last place at the standings after only adding one victory so far. The team coached by ex-Juvenil A coach Jaime Sánchez has small chances of surviving in the league. Abel Torres has only scored three goals, but he is the top-scorer at the team and was the main hope for this game.

The last place at the standings never represented a problem for the defence, but the offence had a hard time trying to break the deadlock. In the end the victory was only possible thanks to two penalties. Not the best game of the team, but the three points were important due to the other results in the group.

And it’s that Fabril had problems in attack, it had the ball possession, but it only completed four shots on target during the first half before a rival that was well placed on the field. Depor’s lads looked too thick and therefore the game was open until the end.

Manu Molina missed the target from the edge of the area in the first chance for the locals (10’), two minutes later Monsalve headed wide a lateral free-kick. The first shot on target came at minute 27, it was Borja Galán with a shot that was blocked by visiting goalie Carlos Martinez.

One minute later, Borja Domingo scored, but he was offside. At minute 34, Óscar García was close to score with a strong shot that Martínez cleared to corner-kick, and two minutes later the locals gained a penalty. It was a polemic call as Óscar fell into the ground before the pressure of Juan Fuentes and the referee called the penalty. The same Óscar seized the chance from the spot.

Fabril reached the pause with the advantage in the scoresheet, but the game wasn’t clear due to the lack of strength from Depor B. Things were more boring in the second half, this time the locals created even less chances, while Órdenes were more worried in defending.

Óscar missed the target from close range (54’) and then the visiting side had its best chance in the game through a free-kick of Abel that was blocked by Álex Cobo (60’). The game continued to be stuck and the only opportunities came with Lucas, who missed the target in a corner-kick action (72’) and Óscar, who missed a new chance (77’).

The game reached the final ten minutes with some excitement, not for what both teams were doing on the pitch, but for the narrow score. But everything ended with a new penalty conceded to Fabril. Again, committed over Óscar, this time by Capi.

Óscar scored against from the spot -his 17th goal on the season- and the game ended with Parrolo making the three changes. Corredera, Carreón and Carlos López entered the field for the final three minutes, the later was making his debut after joining the team on deadline day.

Ugly game as Fabril had problems to create scoring opportunities, the goals came from the penalty spot. But it was a good matchday for Depor B due to the other results, the team is now third, only two points behind leaders Rápido de Bouzas. The next game is the visit to Villalonga CF. Winger Óscar will miss that game after picking the fifth yellow card on the season on this meeting.
